PROGRAM SITES  FALL 2008

 

Bo Robinson Education and Training Center, 377 Enterprise Ave., Trenton. Minimum security correctional facility for women. Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30  – 11:30 a.m., August 12 to September 11. Ten sessions (volunteers are invited to commit to five). A writing component is included.

Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30  – 11:30 a.m. August 18 to September 17, and September 29 to October 22. Ten sessions (volunteers are invited to commit to five). A writing component is included.

Vessels of Praise, West State Street, Trenton. Creativity development youth group, Trenton. Adult-youth intergenerational. Saturday mornings, 10 – 11:30 a.m, September 27 to November 8. Eight sessions (volunteers are invited to commit to at least five).

El Centro de Recursos Para Familias, 327 South Broad St.,Trenton. Spanish-speaking, young adults from a variety of Latin American countries working on Basic Educational Programs, some graduate to GED programs with MCCC.  Tuesdays, 6 – 7:30 p.m. September 30 to November 17. Eight sessions (volunteers are invited to commit to at least five).

Classics: Used and Rare Books, 117 South Warren Street, Trenton. Community men and women. Wednesdays 12 – 1 p.m. October 1 to November 19. Eight sessions (volunteers are invited to commit to at least five).

Architects’ Housing, 215 East Front Street, Trenton. Low-income seniors. Mondays, 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m., October 6 to November 24. Eight sessions (volunteers are invited to commit to at least five).

Rescue Mission of Trenton, 96-100 Carroll Street, Trenton. Men in transition from incarceration. Thursdays, 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. October 8 to November 20. Eight sessions (volunteers are invited to commit to at least five).
